Our hospital provides easy access with plenty of parking and abundant area to walk your dog before or after your visit.

Reception Area

Our reception area is large enough to allow multiple clients to be served while still maintaining space between their pets. In the photo, the entry door is to the right of the desk and the retail area is to the back left side of the room.

Reception and discharge area

This view of the waiting/reception room shows the discharge area of the front desk with the waiting area to the back right of the room. The room is spacious enough to allow clients and their pets to move about comfortably and still maintain distance between pets.

Waiting Area

Our waiting room is bright and spacious. Although we trust that you will find this area comfortable to be in, we make every effort to limit your waiting time to a minimum. We know your time is valuable too!

Examination Room

Our 5 exam rooms are each equipped with x-ray viewers, informational literature and preserved laboratory specimens of common parasites to inform and educate our clients. Several rooms are equipped with video monitors that allow us to let you view what we see with our video otoscope. This instrument allows you to view firsthand such structures as your pet's ear canal and ear drum.

Treatment Room

This portion of our hospital is the hub of activity for in-hospital treatments and procedures. Our intensive care & surgery recovery area and dental suite are located in this room.

Surgery Suite

Surgical procedures performed at our hospital range from ovariohysterectomies (i.e spays) to more complicated orthopedic surgery. Our surgical suite compares favorably to those found in human hospitals. The use of high tech equipment and monitors helps insure the safety of all of our surgical patients.

Radiology

Radiographs (x-rays) are an excellent diagnostic tool to aid us in the diagnosis of a multitude of ailments ranging from such things as pnemonia to factured bones.

Dental Suite

Good dental hygiene helps maintain healthy pets. Research suggests that excellent oral health may actually add years of life to your pet. Pets undergoing dental procedures are monitored by sophisticated equipment to help insure the safety of the anesthetic procedure.

Dental X-Ray

Our dental x-ray machine enables us to better care for your pet's dental problems. Dental radiography helps us to diagnose tooth problems below the gum line such as tooth root infections.

Laboratory

Our in-hospital lab enables us to achieve quick results when necessary. We routinely perform tests on blood, urine and stool. For some more advanced tests we rely on an outside diagnostic lab.

Pharmacy

Our hospital maintains a complete line of pharmaceuticals to enable us to begin medical treatments without delay.

Canine Boarding

Our dog boarding area is showered with sunlight from the glass block windows found throughout the kennel. Our canine guests are fed premium quality Eukanuba food (or we are happy to feed your own food brought from home). All boarders visit our large outdoor exercise yard several times daily. Additional walks or playtime are also available as an add-on service. Please note that boarding is generally reserved for Stoney Creek Animal Hospital clients and patients only.

Kitty Condos

While we know that "there's no place like home" our kitty condos are a close second. All of our kitty guests get to do what they do best; sit in a window and soak up the sun. View the cats in the windows as you drive in and out from our hospital.

Kitty Exercise & Sunroom

Our overnight kitty guests may enjoy stretching & exploring in this multi level play & sun room adjacent to our kitty condo room. Inquire at our reception desk about this add-on service for feline boarders.

Training & Doggy DayCare Room

We offer large indoor and outdoor exercise areas for your dogs to enjoy. Agility equipment (jumps, hoops & tunnels) provides added entertainment and exercise. Please note that this ancillary service is reserved for Stoney Creek Animal Hospital patients only.

Outdoor Exercise & Daycare

Our outdoor exercise yard is covered with K9Grass, the only artificial turf designed specifically for dogs. This yard is where boarding dogs are walked individually and daycare dogs engage in group play.

Bathing Room

Bathing services consist of a therapeutic hydro-massage bath. Most pets thoroughly enjoy the massaging effect of the pulsating water.

Retail

Our retail area offers a wide variety of premium pet foods, treats, dental supplies, toys & chews, shampoo, collars, leashes and more.

Adoption center

Our small adoption center has been successful in placing over 100 stray or orphaned puppies and kittens per year.
